In my artistic journey, I delve into the transformative realms of printmaking, sculpture, and photography, driven by a passion for exploration and experimentation. In printmaking, I am particularly drawn to etching and lithography, finding beauty in the metamorphic process from plate to print, and the unpredictable results that arise. Through careful manipulation of texture, layering, and rearrangement of plates, I balance realism and abstraction, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the intricate interplay of form and texture. My sculptural work explores metal and ceramic, embracing their unique characteristics as I oscillate between the figurative and abstract, aiming to evoke deep emotions and connections through shape and form. Photography also plays a key role in my practice, capturing fleeting moments of human interaction and environmental dynamics, using light, shadow, and composition to evoke nostalgia and intimacy.
At the intersection of theater and abandoned ruins, my work finds resonance, blending historical and contemporary contexts. The silent narratives embedded in decaying structures and the drama of the stage inspire me, bridging themes of resilience and decay, beauty and desolation. These elements infuse my practice with a sense of spectacle and transience, as I explore the ephemeral nature of existence. I aim to foster contemplation and provoke dialogue, transcending the boundaries of medium and form, inviting others to reflect on the complexities of the human experience and the ever-shifting world around us.
